My name is Dr. Stella Muthoni Gachoki

With over 8 years of optical and SAR remote sensing expertise, I address challenges in food security and environmental conservation.

I specialize in predictive ecological modeling, pest and disease mapping, habitat suitability assessment, land cover and crop mapping, and vegetation phenology analysis. In addition to my technical know-how, I excel in stakeholder engagement, partnership building, proposal writing, and resource mobilization.
My focus is on leveraging remote sensing data to address ecological and agricultural challenges, particularly in Africa, through innovative predictive models and interdisciplinary research that bridges science and policy. Driven by a passion for addressing the environmental challenges of the future, I am committed to staying at the forefront of GIS and EO advancements, consistently delivering innovative, high-impact solutions. I aim to lead initiatives that foster partnerships for impactful solutions. I am eager to leverage my expertise and experience to make a tangible difference in sustainable agriculture and environmental conservation.
